Presbyterian WomenPresbyterian Women (PW) is an organization within the Church which offers all women of the church a variety of ways to live their faith in an inclusive, caring community. This organization is committed to nurturing our faith through prayer and Bible study and support the mission of the worldwide church The Presbyterian Women's Board Meeting is held the 1st Monday of each month. Bible Studies: Other activities of the PW include: Columbia Friendship Circle: provide scholarships to seminary students at Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia Birthday Celebration: Salad meal and birthday cake each May to recognize role of women in church and support mission for PW in Presbyterian Church USA Bereavement Meals: provide a meal to families during times of bereavement, usually the meal before or after the funeral service and usually in the Fellowship Hall of the church Church History: document events in the life of the church through a scrapbook; also documents the community activities in which our church members are involved.
